چکیده

Aim: To study and compare the effect of different pediatric medication on tooth-colored restorative materials. Method: One fifty specimens, 50 each material RMGIC, Compomer Composite were obtained using circular acrylic mold with a diameter 5mm thickness 2mm A2 shade for standardization. They further divided into five subgroups multivitamin, antiepileptic, anxiolytic, bronchodilator distilled water as control group. The specimens immersed in syrup 2 minutes twice day 40 days. medications tooth colored was analysed by evaluation colour stability spectrophotometer surface microhardness Vikers hardness tester. Two-way analysis variance (ANOVA) used multiple subgroup comparison. Result: All materials showed statistically significant change color values after immersion syrups from baseline to 40th period (p<0.05). maximum minimum observed RMGIC antiepileptic (14.58) multivitamin group (8.05) (p=0.000). Also, noticed most anxiolytic (15.73) least composite (7.06)
